"Pretty online, disappointing in person"
I ordered a necklace from madebymary.com the whole experience left me frustrated. There felt like there were too many steps just to get everything ordered, and after all that, the necklace didn’t even feel worth the money. The chain was thinner than I expected and felt kind of cheap, and the finish started looking dull after only a few wears. I really wanted to love it because it looked so in the photos, but in real life the quality just wasn’t there for me.

"Didn’t really feel confident ordering"
I was checking out Made By Mary and just didn’t feel totally comfortable placing an order. A few things felt unclear, especially what was supposed to happen next after choosing an item and getting ready to pay. I kept looking around for more details or reassurance, but I didn’t really get the trust I needed in the brand before spending money. Maybe other people have had good experiences, but for me it felt a little too uncertain, so I decided not to buy

"I ordered a small necklace as a birthday…"
I ordered a small necklace as a birthday gift, and when it finally arrived, it really was pretty. But the shipping took longer than I expected, and the tracking barely updated, so I ended up giving the gift late. The box was also a little crushed, which made it feel less special somehow, hard to describe, but it just didn’t have that nice gift-ready feeling. Customer support did reply, but the response felt generic. For the price, I expected the whole gifting part to be smoother. Not a terrible experience, just disappointing.

"Looks nice, but I’m not totally convinced"
The necklace is definitely pretty, and I do like how it looks on, but I’m not sure it really feels worth the price. For what I paid, I guess I expected it to feel a bit higher quality. It’s nice, just maybe not as nice as I hoped.

The necklace itself was okay, but it showed up in this plain little box that was kind of bent and messy. I guess I was expecting something a bit nicer or more polished for the price, so the presentation was disappointing.

I wouldn’t bother with this. It looked fine at first, but after about a week it turned dull and just didn’t hold up. Disappointing and definitely not worth the hassle...

"First impression: pieces, but overpriced"
My first impression was that the jewelry looked really nice, and a few pieces definitely caught my eye. But once I started looking closer at the prices, it just felt like too much for what you’re actually getting. Then shipping and the extra costs made it add up even more. I walked away feeling like I was paying more for the brand name than the item itself.

I’m getting tired of checking back and hearing the same explanation every time. The item is always out of stock, and it feels like there’s never a clear answer on when it’ll actually be available. After a while, repeating the same thing doesn’t really help—it just gets frustrating...

It looked good when I first got it, but after about two weeks the gold plating started wearing off and it turned dull. it kind of feels like it only looks nice when it wants to. Disappointing.

I tried to place my order during my break, but the payment kept failing over and over. I ended up wasting the whole break trying to sort it out, and it felt like no one was paying attention or willing to help.

Pretty straightforward experience overall. I just needed to provide the actual return details first, and then everything could be written up properly. Nothing flashy, but it was useful and did what I needed.

I liked how easy it was to use and the whole process was straightforward. That said, I barely saved any money in the end, so it was a little disappointing compared to what I expected. Still, it wasn’t a terrible experience overall, and I can see it being more useful for someone in a different situation

"Not the experience I was hoping for"
I’d been looking forward to trying this for a while, and I wanted to like it because it wasn’t exactly cheap. The ordering part seemed fine at first, but once there was an issue, things kind of dragged on. I kept going back and forth with support, and the replies were really short, like they were just trying to get through the ticket instead of actually helping. After waiting longer than I expected, I still didn’t really feel like anything was properly fixed. For the price, it was a disappointing experience, and I don’t think I’d order from them again

i was disappointed with this necklace. the engraving is so tiny and faint that i can barely read the name unless i hold it directly under a bright light. for the price, i really expected it to be much clearer. i wouldn’t order it again.
